My Story

My journey into psychotherapy began in education. After completing undergraduate and master’s degrees in history, I developed a passion for learning, storytelling, and amplifying diverse voices. I later earned my Master of Education from UofT and spent several years working as a full-time teacher.

During my time in the classroom, I recognized the importance of student well-being and mental health advocacy. Supporting young people through challenges related to self-esteem, identity, and relationships showed me the importance of having a safe and supportive space to feel heard and understood. This passion led me to pursue a degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I am deeply committed to helping individuals build self-awareness, strengthen self-advocacy skills, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.
